SiteSweeps.com is an online lottery and community thats main goal is to sell large websites for cheap. It started out as a market-testing type of place for a large website broker and since then the idea has grown.
I only see one site, do you sell any thing else?
No. We only sell one item at any given time. When the drawing of a winner is over, we will replace it with another site. Hopefully itll be yours in the future!
What is the schedule for new sites?
There really isnt any, depending on the size of the site up for lotto; we will show a given date for the drawing. As SiteSweeps.coms popularity grows well list more site more frequently. When you submit your site to us, we will inform you via email and private message when your site will be listed.
I want to talk to a live person there, can I call you?
No. We are busy programming, or working to find new sites. You can e-mail us using the contact form, Plus because of US laws our location is located out of the states, so it would be costly for you to call us anyways.
What payment processor do you guys use?
We use paypal, to receive payments from the users for lotto tickets. You will also be paid via paypal, you will have to pay paypal fees.
Who states the number of tickets and price per ticket?
When you fill out the details, you will fill out what price you are looking for. If we feel this price is too high for the site (we are professional website brokers, so were good at valuating things) we will negotiate with you to come up with the best price. Remember the more reasonable the price, the faster youll be added to the sell que. And after that we will handle every thing, number of tickets etc.
What do you need from me, security wise?
We will fax a contract over to you stating you give us the permission to sell the site, and legally binding you to sell the site when the negotiated price is met. You will be required to also give us access to your webstats manager, and give us screenshots of proof of rev. We take the security of our users very seriously, and will take all steps necessary to ensure it.
What if the price set isnt reached by ticket sales?
In this case we will either pay the difference due to the owner of the site, or we will credit the tickets back to the users, and they can use them for another site. In latter case your site wont be sold, but we will ensure we come up with a great price for you so this wont happen.
Are there any listing fees?
No.
